apartment coming together

I spent a bit of my Sunday moving the below piece of furniture down several NYC blocks and up five flights of stairs to the apartment with the much appreciated assistance of Graham & Suzanne. Moving absolutely anything here is an intense experience. Actually, living here in general is an intense experience.

 P.S. The only time people move out of your way on the sidewalk here is when you're awkwardly carrying a hefty piece of furniture.

P.P.S. I'm pretty much a PRO at the stairs now.

I found this kitchen hutch on Craigslist for a deal. I'd been looking online at Target for kitchen storage pieces, but they were about three times as much and completely void of style character. I love used/antique furniture.

We rewarded ourselves for our heavy lifting with the best dinner ever, Mediterranean at a place called Beyoglu (think amazing hummus & lamb).
