oh to be misunderstood...

Sometimes I feel tragically misunderstood.

Scenario: WORK, a hospital pharmacy

Conversation #1:
Person X--Hey, are you going to apply for pharmacy school soon? Or is it nursing?
ME--Actually, I graduated with a communications degree last year. I'm just waiting for the right career opportunity to make a move.
Person X--Yeah that's interesting, well you should really think about going to pharmacy school instead.

Conversation #2:
Person Y--Oh, I see you're wearing Alabama scrubs, did you see that play last week where so-and-so took so-and-so down, then they ran down the field and did something?
ME--Yeah, I don't follow football too closely, I'm more of a distant fan.
Person Y--Oh okay. By the way, do you know the such-and-such stats on this player?

Conversation #3
:
Person Z--Are you listening to that country music again? Do you like the song, such-and-such?
ME--Yeah that radio's always on because it's the only station that picks up. I actually don't care much for country.
Person Z--You must really love that Miranda Lambert and Kenny Chesney.

  1. I love it ! You are most definitely understood. It might be that the rest of the world is sometimes behind in their analysis. Agreed ?

    Love you very much!
